Sophie Turner and Paul McCartney are present

Paul McCartney performed on Sunday night to support his longtime friend Taylor Swift on the third night of her Eras tour shows in London.

Fans saw a video of the Beatles singer walking to the VIP tent before the “Bejeweled” star took the stage. Wearing a black suit, McCartney clapped excitedly, showed off a wrist full of bracelets and greeted the Swifts in attendance.

After a weekend full of surprise A-list appearances, London is officially the most star-studded stop on the Eras Tour yet.

On Friday, Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday with his children Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9. According to a selfie shared on social media, the trio met with Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce before the show.

In addition to the tight end from Kansas City, his brother Jason, his sister-in-law Kylie, “Queer Eye” star Jonathan van Ness and “Bridgerton” actress Nicola Coughlan were also in the VIP tent on Friday.

On Saturday, actors Tom Cruise, Liam Hemsworth, Hugh Grant, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher and director Greta Gerwig were seen dancing to “Shake It Off.”

On Sunday, McCartney was accompanied by Sophie Turner, Gracie Abrams, Ellie Goulding, Cate Blanchett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Andrew Scott and Jon Bon Jovi.

During their show on Sunday, Swift praised the significance of her third performance in the British capital during her “Lover” monologue.

“I have my methods of recognizing what kind of audience I’m expecting before I even step on stage,” she said, swaying her pink guitar.

The singer-songwriter added that she sends her parents out as spies before the show and they report on the energy of the crowd.

“I gotta tell you, my dad bursts into the dressing room,” she laughed. “He bursts in! He says, ‘Hey, you don’t understand. You don’t get it. The first night was crazy. It was here. The second night is up here. The third night is beyond good and evil, Tay.'”

The last time Swift and McCartney were seen together in public was in a suite at Super Bowl 58, when the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.

The two have been friends for years. In 2020, Swift interviewed McCartney for a Rolling Stone series called “Musicians on Musicians.”
