Tennessee vs. Texas A&M, score 2, College World Series live updates

The Tennessee Volunteers face Texas A&M in the second game of the College World Series.

After a 9-5 loss to Texas A&M in Game 1 of the College World Series, the Tennessee Volunteers look to keep their championship hopes alive in Sunday’s elimination game. A win would extend the series into Monday and give the Vols another chance to pursue their first national title in program history. If the Volunteers extend the series, Game 3 will be played Monday in Omaha, Nebraska. Tennessee is looking to win its first national title under head coach Tony Vitello and first title in program history.

RHP Drew Beam is expected to start in Game 2 for the Voltuneers and has a good chance to win it. DraftKings currently lists Tennessee as a -250 favorite to win Game 2 of the championship series and a +105 favorite to win the national title.

Above – Christian Moore starts the top half against RHP Z. Badmaev and Moore hits a right-back single to center for a single. Blake Burke hits to left field for the first out. Christian Moore steals second base after Billy Amick’s strikeout. Dreiling strikes out with momentum to end the inning.

Below – RHP Drew Beam starts for the Vols. Grahovac throws a pop-out to Christian Moore in shallow right field.
