CASE DETAILS: According to the complaint, defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Teradata’s expanded business model, which included working with additional customer business units and decision makers, took longer to close transactions with Teradata’s customers; (2) Teradata thus overstated its ability to close customer transactions within the timelines it expected under its expanded business model; (3) Teradata failed to close several customer transactions on a timely basis that it had factored into its 2023 total annual recurring revenue (“ARR”) growth forecast; (4) Teradata was likely to fail to meet its expectations for total and public cloud ARR for the full year 2023 as a result; and (5) Teradata’s public statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times as a result.
