Gwen Stefani’s multimillion-dollar salary for “The Voice” revealed as the singer opted for the show instead of touring with “No Doubt”

GWEN Stefani has turned her back on her band for the time being after pocketing a hefty paycheck for her return to The Voice.

The singer has coached the NBC competition show for seven consecutive seasons and is now returning for her eighth season.

In the 26th season, she will serve as a coach alongside Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.

However, Gwen will not return in season 27 as Michael, Kelsea Ballerini, John Legend and Adam Levine will take over the chairs.

A source exclusively told US Sun that 54-year-old Gwen will take home $13 million from the upcoming season of The Voice.

Insiders claim that No Doubt planned to go on tour after their critically acclaimed double weekend as headliners at Coachella.

After their comeback attracted a lot of interest from fans, they were offered performances across the country.

No Doubt hadn’t toured for 12 years, but the plan fell through, prompting Gwen to return to The Voice.

The source also revealed that Gwen felt she “didn’t need the band” because she “gets a lot of solo gigs playing her old hits by herself.”

“She gets private bookings for solo performances all the time and of course she’s playing these songs. It’s really a business decision. ‘Go to work and make all the money myself or split it?'” the source said.

NO REUNION, WITHOUT A DOUBT?

“No Doubt’s triumphant Coachella performances were seen as a launching pad for the band’s reboot,” a source claimed.

“They worked so hard for months to deliver the perfect show and give the audience back the magic.”

“The original intention was for Gwen and the band to use this platform to continue touring after Coachella, but the plan fell through,” the insider continued.

“But there was talk of tension between members and managers around the return and trying to accommodate everyone’s schedules.”

The insider further claimed that Gwen received the best offer to return to NBC and therefore decided to go her own way and return to television.

However, she would earn just as much on a two-month tour with No Doubt as she would on The Voice.

A spokesperson for Gwen did not respond to US Sun’s request for comment.

A spokesman for NBC declined to comment on the salary.

REMAINS A MENTOR

Although Gwen sat out several seasons, she continued to be a mentor to many former contestants.

Former contestant Jay Allen spoke about Gwen at Keep Memory Alive’s 27th annual Power of Love gala in Las Vegas.

He said she and her husband Blake Shelton are good people.

They advised him on his career choice and supported his fundraising campaigns.

Jay said her “caring and kindness are genuine.”

Season three winner Cassadee Pope said Gwen and Blake, 48, were both “amazing and so authentic.”

“I appreciate their authenticity,” she said.

There was talk of tension between the members (of No Doubt) and the managers regarding the return and trying to accommodate everyone’s schedules.
