Prince William just met Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour

If you’re anything like us, you’re currently in the grip of Swiftie-mania as the Eras Tour tours across the UK (*cue friendship bracelets, cowboy hats, and spontaneously making friends with people in the audience*).

And it’s not just us mere mortals who are risking our savings to see Ms. Swift in concert, no, the celebs are getting in on the action too! Haim, Emma Stone, Blake Lively, Shania Twain and so many others have been spotted at various dates and locations on Taylor’s mega tour. Even Labour leader Kier Starmer shared a picture from his own performance on The Eras Tour.

It seems that more people are obsessed with Taylor than we thought. Most notably, Prince William and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte are all part of the Swiftie community.

Yesterday (June 22), the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Instagram account shared a backstage image of Taylor (looking as glamorous as ever with scarlet lipstick) taking a selfie with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Judging by their big smiles, both children are clearly overjoyed at the encounter.

The simple caption read, “Thank you @taylorswift for a brilliant night! #LondonTSTheErastour.”

Taylor, for her part, also immortalized the meeting on social media. On her official Instagram account, the musician shared a selfie of herself, the royals and her charming boyfriend Travis Kelce.
