Travis, Jason and Kylie Kelce join Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in London

Swift fever has gripped the British capital as Taylor Swift was set to perform her first sold-out night at London’s Wembley Stadium, introducing new support acts while Travis, Jason and Kylie Kelce cheered from the floor.

Travis Kelce was seen walking to the VIP floor tent during Paramore’s “Misery Business” with Kelce’s brother, sister-in-law and best friend Ross Travis. The Kelces were in Cannes, France the day before the concert as part of the Cannes Lions Festival. Fans took photos and videos of Jason exchanging friendship bracelets with Swifties. Also spotted on the floor were Swift’s parents Scott and Andrea SwiftBridgerton actress Nicola CoughlanQueer Eye host Jonathan van Ness and actress Cara Delevingne.

Online, social media accounts confused Ross Travis and Travis Kelce. Travis was wearing a green shirt and cowboy hat.

Kelce has attended the tour half a dozen times since the couple went public last year. His first stop was Buenos Aires, Argentina, followed by Sydney, Australia, two nights in Singapore and the final night in Paris. Swift has changed the lyrics of “Karma” to “Guy on the Chiefs” every time Kelce has cheered her on from the sidelines. She also attended 13 NFL games during the 2023-2024 season, culminating with the Super Bowl.

The Kansas City football player was in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday to participate in his three-day Tight End University event before heading to Europe, hosting a program that brings tight ends together for film study, field drills, recovery and rehabilitation.

Introducing Mette to the Swift universe

Mette opened the first night at Wembley, performing before Paramore, the opening act for all 51 Eras tour shows in Europe. Mette describes her musical repertoire as “sensual and sweaty”. Before the Eras tour, she played the role of Cassandra in the 2019 film “Cats” alongside Swift.

“This is such a special night, guys,” said Mette. “Thanks, Taylor.”

London turns into Swiftmania

The City of Dreams has been gearing up for Swift’s three nights. She has sung about the city in several of her songs, including “London Boy,” “So Long London,” and “The Black Dog.” She has a shared history with the city, having dated her ex Joe Alwyn for over six years and frequently visiting Camden Market, Highgate, the West End, Brixton, Shoreditch, and Hackney.

In the week leading up to Swift’s performance, murals began popping up all over the city. Hours before the show, the London Underground created a map reflecting the singer’s 11 eras. Lines were recolored to reflect different albums and stops were named after songs like “All Too Well” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.” Gems were added to reflect popular landmarks like Hampstead Heath or Wembley Stadium.

Swift has two more performances at Wembley Stadium before heading to Dublin. On Saturday, Griff will open for the singer before Paramore performs, and on Sunday, Benson Boone will be the first act to take the stage.
