(MENAFN-UkrinForm) Rescue workers have cleared the consequences of an enemy attack on a five-story residential building in Kharkiv.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine announced this in a Facebook post, reports Ukrinform.

“At 6:30 a.m. on June 23, rescue operations at the site of a bomb blast on a five-story residential building were completed. A total of 116 rescue workers and 24 rescue machines were deployed at the site,” the statement said.

The Russian attack killed two people and injured 53 others, including three children.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs on June 22. A five-story residential building, a public transport stop, shops, cars and public transport were damaged. The territory of an eco-park and an enterprise were also hit.
