After making her WNBA regular season debut on Tuesday night with the Indiana Fever, the team that selected her with the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark will play in the team’s home opener against the New York Liberty on Thursday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Clark played well for the most part in her debut, scoring 20 points, although she got into foul trouble early and caused 10 turnovers, the most of the game.

How did Caitlin Clark play in her WNBA regular season debut?

Caitlin Clark had a mixed debut on Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun. She finished the game with 20 points – making 5 of 15 shots, including 4 of 11 from beyond the three-point line. Clark played 32 minutes but had to leave the game earlier than usual in the first quarter due to foul trouble.

She had three assists and two steals, but had 10 turnovers, which continues to be her biggest problem coming into the WNBA. Including the two preseason games she played in, Clark has committed 21 turnovers.
