Samyuktha says it was ‘a lot of fun’ shooting action scenes with Kajol for Maharagni: Why should only boys have all the fun? | Bollywood

Kajol is known for her versatility in playing different characters. The actress recently completed shooting for important action scenes for her upcoming action thriller Maharagni: Queen of Queens. Her co-star Samyuktha, who is making her Bollywood debut, stated in an interview with News 18 Showsha that the actors performed the stunt scenes themselves. Samyukhtha on Maharagni action sequences

Samyuktha shared that they shot bit by bit. The actress gave an update on a schedule that included major portions of Kajol’s action sequences. She also revealed another schedule featuring her that was recently wrapped up. While sharing her experience, the Malayam actress said, “We had a blast! They brought in an action director from abroad and the way they planned everything was wonderful. I am so grateful.”

Samyuktha also pointed out, “After hearing the story of Maharagni, our director (Charan Tej Uppalapati) and I sat down and discussed how he wanted to portray two women in action-packed avatars. We talked about why only boys should have all the fun. Maharagni is a pure commercial film full of songs and fight scenes. We do the action. It is very interesting to be a part of such a film.”

Samyukhtha’s acting career

Samyuktha made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Popcorn. She was last seen in the Telugu action saga Devil: The British Secret Agent and in a cameo appearance in the Telugu romantic horror film Love Me. She recently completed the Malayalam action thriller Ram starring Mohanlal in the lead role.

Kajol’s iconic films

Kajol made her acting debut with the Bollywood film Bekhudi. She later acted in popular Hindi films such as Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Fanaa, My Name is Khan and Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior. The actor was last seen in Lust Stories 2 (2023).

Maharagni is written and directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati. The film also stars Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah and Jisshu Sengupta.
