The long-awaited Arcadion Raid series was released last week on Final Fantasy XIVand adds more of these certified hits to his ever-growing song list, with a special mention going to give everythingthe theme song of the fourth boss. And one week after the release, Square-Enix has now officially announced the singer.

The voice behind the song by Wicked Thunder is none other than Chrissy Costanza, the lead singer of Against the Current. Immediately praised as one of the best Morning trail Soundtracks, players will be greeted with this when they participate in the AAC Light Heavyweight M4 Battle, another successful musical collaboration from popular artists in the game. The song was composed by Masayoshi Soken and performed by The Primalsthe official band of the game.

And fans have been vocal about how much they enjoyed the song. “Your performance was incredible, I am an absolute fan of the song and your vocals definitely made it my new top favorites,” one X user commented under her reveal.

Others got too carried away by the topic. “Maybe I died in the raid because I got carried away by the music,” another user revealed. Honestly? I understand them.

Chrissy Costanza has been the lead singer of Against the Current since its formation in 2011 and has recently been working on her own single 7 minutes in hell. Luckily, she found a break to work on Square Enix’s critically acclaimed MMORPG. The company also published a Q&A with Costanza where she revealed more about her experience working on the game.

She mentions how important music is to gaming, having been a fan of both since she was a child. “Pairing the right music with the right game just completely enhances the gaming experience and brings the game into the real world. It’s more than just a song, it’s more than just a game,” Costanza says.

give everything perfectly captures Wicked Thunder (or Eutrope, her name offstage)’s conflicted feelings about having to fight you, and is a perfect song to set the tone for the final battle in the Arcadion raid level. The harder version of the battle, Savage difficulty, is coming on July 30, giving players more opportunity to listen to the song. The Savage fourth battle in a raid series traditionally includes a second phase that may or may not have a new theme. But if that’s the case, we hope Costanza does, too.
