Eva Longoria and Reese Witherspoon speak out in support of Catt Sadler during the E! Red Carpet Show

Add Eva Longoria, Sarah Jessica Parker and Reese Witherspoon to the list of people who E! accused during its own Golden Globes red carpet show of allegedly underpaying former EHR! Message Co-host Catt Sadler.

After a joint interview with Ryan Seacrest, Longoria and Witherspoon spoke about the need for equal pay for women and expressed support for Sadler, who left the network in December after learning that her male co-host Jason Kennedy was making “twice as much” as her. (E! said the network “compensates employees fairly and appropriately.”)

“We are also here for Time’s Up, we support gender equality and equal pay and we hope E! follows suit and we stand with Catt,” said Longoria, 42.

Longoria and Witherspoon, 41, agreed, saying, “We’re with you, Catt.”

Seacrest replied, “We love Catt, we love her.”

Will and Grace “We were very excited to be getting back together soon,” star Debra Messing told E! just minutes earlier during an interview with Seacrest’s co-host Giuliana Rancic.

“Time is up and we want diversity and we want intersectional gender parity,” Messing, 49, told Rancic. “We want equal pay and I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn’t believe in paying its female co-hosts the same as its male co-hosts.”

Parker also referred to Sadler in his conversation with Seacrest.

“I know it’s impacted your network,” she said. “I know there have been conversations that have been challenging for all of us, but I think it’s incredibly timely. It’s exciting. And parity and equality and safe work environments shouldn’t be controversial.”

Sadler previously spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her decision to leave the network, saying it was “heartbreaking.”

“It’s almost insulting because you know you work really hard,” she said. “I’ve given everything to this network. I’ve sacrificed time away from my family and dedicated my entire career to this network. And when you find out something like that, you feel very small and underestimated and undervalued.”

“I mean, I miss Catt Sadler, and that’s why we stand behind her,” Messing said on the red carpet on Sunday, “and that’s something that can change tomorrow. We want people to start talking about women being just as valuable as men.”

However, a source familiar with the situation insisted to PEOPLE that E! pays female employees fairly.

“The notion that E! doesn’t pay women equally couldn’t be further from the truth,” the source said. “Giuliana made more than three times Jason’s salary when they hosted together, and another of his co-hosts also made significantly more.” (Rancic, a former EHR! Message Moderator, left her post in 2015. She remains co-moderator of the Live from the Red Carpet.)

An E! spokesperson said in a previous statement to PEOPLE on behalf of the network and Kennedy: “E! compensates its employees fairly and appropriately according to their role, regardless of gender.”

“We value Catt Sadler’s many contributions to E! News and wish her well in her decision to leave the network,” the spokesperson said.

In a statement to PEOPLE on Sunday after her alleged pay gap was mentioned on the red carpet, Sadler said, “I am eternally grateful for the outpouring of support today. Thank you to Amy, Debra, Eva, Brie, Julianne and so many other women who raised their voices for all of us. Time is up.”

The 75th Golden Globes were broadcast live on NBC on Sunday from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
