Hillary Clinton on her way to Portland for a reading tour in October

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – As election season approaches, a familiar face is planning a visit to Portland – but this time, she’s not on the campaign trail.

Hillary Clinton, longtime senator and former Democratic presidential candidate, has announced a new tour for her latest book: “Something lost, something gained: reflections on life, love and freedom.”


The tour takes the former US Secretary of State to Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Monday, October 21st. Tickets are scheduled to hit stores on Friday, August 2, and will cost between $79 and $399.

“At each event, Secretary Clinton and a moderator will take the audience on a journey of unvarnished conversations about politics, democracy, the threats we face, friendship, aging, marriage and how we can all work together to create a future we can be proud of,” the venue said in a statement.
