The Wyoming Walks series will take participants on an informational tour of the event center on July 23

CASPER, Wyoming — Hikers will explore the area around the Ford Wyoming Center for the third installment of UW Natrona County Extension’s Wyoming Walks series, where participants take a variety of hikes through Natrona County and hear from local experts about what they’re seeing. The hike for today, July 23, begins at 5:45 p.m.

The organization describes its hikes as a way to learn more about Natrona County, make new friends and get exercise in a fun and new way. At each hike, Wyoming Walks also hands out unique water bottle stickers that are timed to that day.

At each location, a gold University of Wyoming Extension flag will mark the meeting point for participants.

The second walk in the series will have participants walk around the Ford Wyoming Center at 1 Events Drive to learn more about the venue’s operations. Wyoming Walks announced in a previous press release that this walk is open to everyone.

Wyoming Walks recommends that participants bring a water bottle and sunscreen on each hike in the series. The organization also recommends that hikers wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes.
