Yonki dedicates an emotional song to his late mother two months after her death: “My world feels empty”

Two months after the death of his mother Alejandro Santoya, widely known as El Yonkihas decided to honor her memory with an emotional song that expresses the deep longing he feels in the face of her absence.

“Today marks two months, but you are still beautiful and I feel you by my side. I draw strength from the pain to give the best version of myself. You are my everything, the air I breathe. You have left me a very difficult task, but in your name I must face them all and honor your crown. All your neighbors, friends and the neighborhood miss you; nothing will ever be the same without you. Saint forever. I love you, mom,” said the Reggaeton Artist wrote on his Instagramand shared the song along with a photo of his mother.

The song begins with the last messages they exchanged before their deaths. As El Yonki is on his way to Cuba When he saw her, he called her his treasure, his princess, and expressed his deep love for her. His mother assured him that she desperately wanted to hug him.

“How hard it is to accept that you are not by my side / My world feels empty / I am very cold at night, I don’t have your warmth,” part of the lyrics say.

In the comments on his post, his partner and many of his followers sent him messages of strength and added that his mother would always be proud of him.

El Yonki’s mother died last May after months of battling a serious illness.
