Reba McEntire revealed that the coaches of “The Voice” could possibly have guest appearances in the new sitcom

Reba McEntire may not return for season 27 of The voice. But it may bring The voice to her. She recently hinted that some of her colleagues from The Voice could appear as guest stars in her new sitcom Happy’s Place.

Speaking to TV Insider, McEntire revealed that she would like to include fellow coaches in her sitcom. In fact, several have already expressed interest in the idea.

“In a tiny minute, yes!” she said. “Snoop wants to be on the show. Michael Bublé wants to be on the show. Gwen is just going to come visit, she didn’t say she wanted to be on the show.”

However, McEntire’s co-star Melissa Peterman said Stefani couldn’t resist a guest spot on the show. “She’s going to want it,” Peterman added. “If she comes and hangs out, she’s going to want it.” In fact, Peterman already has the perfect role for Stefani on the show. “Maybe Gwen could play my sister! I said that because I want everyone to think we look a lot alike. She’s just amazing.” Your turn, Stefani!

Meanwhile, McEntire also spoke about the difficulty of filming both films. Happy’s Place And The voice at once. “Some days the shooting overlaps,” said McEntire. “But it’s so much better than two years ago when I Big Sky in Albuquerque for ABC and then fly to the east coast for concerts on the weekend. It’s a no-brainer.”

Reba McEntire is having fun

However, McEntire and Peterman are enjoying working together again after Reba, that’s all.

“We’ve been friends ever since,” Peterman said. “We’ve done other things together. I got to tour with her and open the show and do stand-up, and we go on vacations together. We hang out together and just wait for a new project so we can actually work together again. I think it’s even evolved to the point where — you know, we were together for six years, over 100 episodes — we have such a shortcut.”

Meanwhile, McEntire praises the crew’s solidarity.

She said: “I can already see what will happen in this show, what will happen in the Reba “The first episode of the show, we all went on vacation together – the writers, the producers, the showrunners, everyone – and their families. We had so much fun. I can imagine that happening with this group. The camaraderie and the way we got along that first week while we were shooting the pilot.”
