The Green Bay Packers returned for their second open practice of their 2024 training camp on Tuesday. However, quarterback Jordan Love will not practice unless he has a new contract.

The Packers training camp on Tuesday is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Is Jordan Love training today?

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said Monday that Love’s agent informed the team that the quarterback would not practice until he has a contract extension. A new contract has not been announced. Love was at the practice field Monday, but was wearing civilian clothes and did not participate.

If he signs the contract extension, Love could be one of the highest-paid players in the NFL. Gutekunst said he is “optimistic” that an extension will be signed in the next few days.

Love fully participated in the Packers’ offseason program this spring.
