The North Coast Lions Club is hosting a “Bowling for the Blind” fundraiser on September 8th from 2:30-5:00 p.m. at Wickliffe Lanes, 30315 Euclid Ave.
The cost is $30 per person and includes shoe rentals, food and three raffle tickets, a news release said. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for prizes.
There can be up to six people on a lane, and groups of fewer than six will be placed with other groups. One frame is bowled blindfolded with a partner, the press release said.
This is a fundraiser to benefit visually impaired and disabled people and to support programs such as Pilot Dogs and Ohio Lions Eye Research.
