Chris Brown accused in lawsuit over alleged assault

Singer Chris Brown is once again involved in a scandal: four concertgoers from Texas have filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against him and his tour promoter.

The alleged assault occurred on Friday after Brown’s “11:15” tour stop at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The lawsuit states that the plaintiffs were waiting backstage in the artist’s VIP area with “approximately 40 women.” After waiting for 30 minutes, they were about to leave when Brown showed up.

“No one should have to go through what these clients went through,” Tony Buzbee, the plaintiffs’ attorney, said in a statement to Variety. “We will seek the maximum damages allowed by law for this egregious conduct.”
