Can talent really run in the bloodline? It certainly seems that way – just ask any country music star who also has famous relatives.

Lady A singer Hillary Scott grew up in fame, as her mother is the iconic Linda Davis. In this case, it’s safe to say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Of course, this isn’t the only example of a country-singing parent-child relationship. Thomas Rhett is the pride and joy of his father, Rhett Akins. Akins has actually written several hits with his superstar son, and they even toured together in 2019 as part of Rhett’s Very Hot Summer Tour.

But here’s a story that might shock you: A member of A Thousand Horses is related to not one, but two men who are also pretty big musicians in another genre! Charles Kelley’s brother is also a big crooner, and we all know who Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter is – but he actually has several children in the music business. And then there’s Tim McGraw, whose offspring was an MLB player, even if he didn’t know it for many years.
