Fire Song: The first song from Siva’s Suriya film Kanguva has been released. The makers released the number Fire Song on Suriya’s birthday, July 23. Fire Song released

Fire Song is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, lyrics are by Viveka and vocals are by VM Mahalingam, Senthil Ganesh, Shenbagaraj and Deepthi Suresh. The lyrics are about fire in Suriya’s character in the film and in the video he is seen dancing briefly with his tribals. The song seems like an introductory number for one of his characters in the film.

Disha Patani shared the number on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Through the flames of destiny, let us find our inner tribal instincts. Let us celebrate the birthday of our Kanguva with the fire song.” Ahead of the song’s release, Siva and his team also released a poster alluding to the conflict between conservatism and modernity in the film.

Fans react

“We are all eagerly waiting to see Suriya Anna (brother) after two and a half years,” a fan commented under the video on YouTube, looking forward to seeing him back on screen after the films Etharkkum Thunindhavan and Vikram in 2022. Another wrote, “SURIYA na + DSP na COMEBACK after SINGAM.”

One fan commented, “Mahalingam’s voice is just awesome.” Another commented, “Wow what a song. I am proud to be a Tamilian. No words…” One praised DSP for the “cool beat” while another said he had “goosebumps.”

Information Kanguva

Earlier this year, a 50-second teaser of Kanguva was released, showing Suriya as a powerful and ruthless warrior. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist in the film, also sporting a tribal look. The teaser shows brief scenes of the two facing each other. Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu and Yogi Babu also play important roles in the film.

The official synopsis of the Tamil film reads: “A 500-year-old story from the 18th century to the year 2023 about a hero who must complete an unfinished mission.” Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green is producing the film. Kanguva will be released on October 10.
