Taylor Swift sings surprise duet with Hayley Williams on London Eras Tour

Taylor Swift continues to impress Swifties with her surprise songs!

On Saturday, June 22, the 14-time Grammy winner wowed the crowd at the second Eras Tour show in London by bringing Hayley Williams of Paramore on stage to perform her Speak Now Vault track “Castles Crumbling”.

In Videos In a photo shared by a fan at Wembley Stadium, Swift, 34, is seen sitting at a piano with her longtime friend Williams, 35, performing the ballad acoustically as part of the tour’s surprise song segment.

They have been friends since the beginning of their careers and performed together in London in 2011 during the Speak Now Tour.

Before Williams took the stage, Swift announced a special guest, leaving fans excited.

“During the re-recordings, I really tried to reach out to artists that I am such a fan of, or in the case of one of the albums, specifically Speak Now, I reached out to artists that had such a huge influence on my music and my writing that I looked up to,” Swift teased.

Swift continued, “I asked an artist that I’m a huge fan of if she wanted to be on one of the songs and she said yes. London, we’re so lucky because when I asked Hayley Williams if she wanted to come to this show, she said yes.”

Swift also performed at Saturday’s show The “Tortured Poets” section Track “thanK you aIMee” for the first time, mixed with “Mean” by Speak Now. During “Mean,” Swift changed the lyrics from “Someday I’ll live in a big old city” to “One day I will sing this song at Wembley.”

On June 21, Swift’s boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted in a VIP tent with his brother Jason and wife Kylie Kelce. This was the first time Jason and Kylie were seen at one of her shows. The trio returned to London for the second night.

Before her shows in London, Swift played to a sold-out crowd in Cardiff, Wales and praised her fans on Instagram for their enthusiasm.

“Cardiff!! My first gig in Wales and it was truly out of control in the best way – looking at this huge, jumping, dancing sea of ​​people,” wrote the artist. “I’ll never forget it. I absolutely live for these British crowds.”

Meanwhile, Swift played her 100th show in Liverpool, England, on June 13, marking the milestone by announcing the end of the tour.

In fan-shot footage of the show, Swift can be seen telling the Liverpool audience: “A lot of you are wondering, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?'”

“Celebrating the 100th show means for me to own up and admit for the first time that this tour will end in December,” she said. “It feels so far away, but on the other hand, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you guys made it so fun for us.”

She continued, “It took over everything. I think I used to have hobbies, but I don’t remember what they were because when I’m not on stage I just sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups.”

After her third show in London on June 23, Swift will fly to Ireland the following weekend. She will return to Wembley Stadium on August 15 for five more shows.
