Love Island USA announces winners of season 6

Love Island USA’s sixth season saw some fun shake-ups, most notably the new host. Most viewers would agree that Ariana Madix was absolutely amazing. Of course, she wouldn’t have done such a good job without a little bit of attachment to her. “It’s bittersweet,” Ariana said on Love Island USA Aftersun, speaking about her feelings about the finale.

Despite the difficult feelings, however, Ariana said the Final Four was “perfect.” She explained, “It’s my Final Four. When I look at everyone coming up to the finals…that’s the real Final Four and that’s not a criticism of anyone else. It feels right.” So, how did it all turn out?

Love Island USA winners take home $100,000… with a surprise

In the end, there were four couples: Serena Page with Kordell Beckham, Leah Katen with Miguel Harichi, JaNa Craig with Kenny Rodriguez and Nicole Jacky with Kendall Washington. Before revealing how the audience voted, Ariana said: “It was an unforgettable summer full of breakups, reconciliations, friendships, relationships and most of all, love.”

Ariana then announced that Nicole and Kendall were in fourth place, with JaNa and Kenny just ahead of them in third place. Before announcing the winners, Ariana said: “We’ve followed every step of your relationship for the past six weeks. And now the wait is finally over.”

Leah and Miguel took second place, leaving Serena and Kordell in first place. But there was one last catch. The two were each given an envelope, one of which contained $100,000. Whoever opened the envelope and found the money had the option of sharing it with their partner or redeeming it for themselves.

After Serena opened an empty envelope, Kordell found the cash prize in his. He decided to split the money with his partner, $50,000 each. But before things really got started, Ariana announced the Love Island USA reunion, which would debut on Peacock on August 19.

In the meantime, Love Island USA will stream entirely on Peacock.
