Taylor Swift makes a bold statement about a fan’s viral dance interpretation of the new song

Since Taylor Swift released her 11th studio album, The “Tortured Poets” sectionOn April 19, Swifties created videos inspired by the new tracks. And recently, the pop superstar made a bold statement about a fan’s viral dance rendition of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”

Last week, a TikTok user named Giacomo Benavides posted a video of himself dramatically performing the diss track, which is presumably about Swift’s ex. Matty HealyHe wore a 1989 blue cardigan and headphones while I lip sync to the bridge of the song.

As Swift sang, “Were you sent by someone who wanted me dead?”, Benavides collapsed on the pavement before getting back up and limping. He then grabbed a Nerf gun from under a parked car as the song continued, “Did you sleep with a gun under our bed?”

Benavides then theatrically leafed through a book before angrily throwing it on the floor while lip-syncing: “Did you write a book? Were you a sleeper cell spy?” Suddenly, he was grabbed by two men and dragged to a police car as he continued singing: “Will all this be released in 50 years?”

A look at the TikTok comments revealed that Swift herself had heard about the clip. “This is the official music video 🏆,” the 34-year-old boldly announced.

Swifties noticed Swift’s reaction, with one fan shouting, “MOTHER?!???!? SCREAMING, CRYING, VOMITING😭😭😭.” Another commented, “You peaked! Nothing can top that!!!!!”

Others praised Benavides for his masterful performance. One wrote: “Incredible. The cardigan, the smeared mascara, the kidnapping. This is a masterpiece.”

Another TikTok user shared, “Nope because it just kept getting crazier 😂,” while another replied, “LMAO the ending but it’s so real 😭💔.”

At the time of this writing, Benavides’ viral video has been viewed over 6.7 million times and received over 1.1 million likes.
