Paul Walter Hauser has received praise for his roles in film and television. As the star of an upcoming Chris Farley biopic, he may be playing his biggest role yet, but the actor feels he has been preparing for this role his entire life.




In an interview with Variety, Hauser spoke about his role in the untitled biopic. As a long-time fan of the late Saturday Night Live Star, Hauser noted that he has “practiced playing Chris Farley his whole life.” Richard Jewell The star admitted that it would still be difficult to deliver a well-received performance, as people might be much more critical of the portrayal of such a popular star than of another original character.

“Oh no, it will just make it harder to perceive,” said Hauser.Everyone will judge the film badly and have very passionate, harsh opinions. I’m not worried about playing Chris because I know I’m going to approach the role with a lot of love and effort. At the end of the day, all you can do is work hard and do your best to love the character and the project as much as possible. For me, that doesn’t seem to be a big obstacle with Chris. I adore him. I want to honor him. I want people to leave the theater after laughing and crying together.”

The biopic is being shot at New Line Cinema, which is said to have secured the rights after a heated bidding war. Josh Gad is directing, the screenplay is by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
