Viral prediction causes social media to stir!

Social media is once again full of claims that “The simpsons” have accurately predicted another major event!

This time, the popular theory revolves around the upcoming presidential election. Just to bring you up to speed, on Sunday, President Joe Biden announced that he would not seek another term and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his place on the ballot. Harris expressed her honor and determination to win the election in her statement.

Following this announcement Jean-Marielongtime showrunner and writer of “The Simpsons,” shared a viral side-by-side photo on social media. The image compared Kamala Harris to Lisa Simpson from the Season 11 episode “Bart To The Future.” Fans were quick to notice the similarities: Lisa wore pearl earrings, a pearl necklace, and a purple blazer in the scene, similar to Harris’ outfit when she was sworn in as vice president in 2021.

This isn’t the first time The Simpsons has seemingly predicted the future, however. In 2016, the show eerily predicted Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election. They have also referenced events like the Capitol insurrection on January 6 and the death of Queen Elizabeth II long before they happened. Despite these eerie predictions, the show’s creators have always denied having any psychic abilities.
