Chris Brown and Yella Beezy sued for assault after concert in Fort Worth

Chris Brown is once again in the crossfire. According to a new lawsuit, Brown staged the attack on several men. According to legal documents first obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Brown, rapper Yella Beezy, Brown’s entourage Sinko Ceej and Live Nation are all facing a lawsuit from the four alleged victims. The victims are demanding $50 million in damages.

Brown’s 11:11 The tour arrived at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, July 20. After the show ended, plaintiffs Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush and Da Marcus Powell claim, Brown and his entourage invited them backstage and escorted them, along with 40 other women, to an area where they were to meet after the concert. The plaintiffs say they got tired of waiting for Brown to come backstage and left, but had a chance to say goodbye to him on the way out. They claim that after the plaintiffs high-fived Brown, a member of Brown’s entourage yelled loudly, asking if Brown had forgotten that he and Bush had had an argument. Brown’s attitude allegedly changed and he incited members of his entourage to knock Brown down. Bush claims 7-10 people surrounded him and started punching and kicking him.

The plaintiffs also claim Chris Brown sent Yella Beezy and other friends to “screw” Larry Parker by chasing him into a dead-end street with a locked door. Parker says Beezy and her companions punched him and kicked him in the head for over 10 minutes. They also say Brown encouraged his entourage to brutally beat the plaintiffs. Their attorney, Tony Buzbee, says at least one of them is still in the hospital and has vowed to take Brown to court. Buzbee previously represented the women who alleged sexual assault against disgraced Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Watson settled those lawsuits out of court.

For Brown, this is the latest in a long line of legal troubles. The domestic violence case against pop superstar Rihanna is the most high-profile example. However, it is far from the only trouble with the law that Brown has gotten into over the years. Yella Beezy was arrested in 2022 and charged with sexual assault and child endangerment. However, Dallas authorities dropped those charges soon after. Brown’s team has yet to comment on the new lawsuit.
