Kordell Beckham and Serena Page win season 6 of “Love Island USA”

It’s official – Serena Page and Kordell Beckham aka #Korena were named winners of the sixth season of Love Island USA.

The loved-up couple proved that black love remains at its highest level after taking home the crown and the $100,000 prize at the finale on Sunday night (July 21) after just six weeks of dating.

Serena caught the attention of Odell Beckham Jr.’s younger brother from the moment they entered the mansion in this season’s premiere, but that’s when their slow-blooming romance began. After they began exploring the physical aspects of their connection, it was put to the test when Kordell returned from Casa Amor with his new partner, Daia McGhee. When that fizzled out, however, the battle to win Serena back began.

They shared several adorable moments throughout the season, including a series of matching fits, inventing their own handshake, and even the time the two got close while Serena was detangling Kordell’s hair. “You make me feel like myself when I’m with you,” he gushed during the act.

The two even got to know each other’s families via video call and yes, Serena met OBJ. Reflecting on how Serena and Kordell were made for each other from the start, the NFL star said, “I love it, I tell you.” He later described Serena as a “great partner” before Kordell chimed in, “Slow and steady wins the race and she won the race for my heart.”

The couple’s final date in the villa ended with a note that read: “Not the end, (but) the beginning…” They both agreed that their dates in the villa were the “best” they had ever experienced in their lives.

After their win, they shared that they were ready to experience an amusement park together on their first official date, and Serena praised herself for being able to show her vulnerability in front of the world.

Kordell didn’t think he would find someone “that quickly,” but “everything worked out.”

A reunion special will air on August 19 at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock, with Serena and Kordell returning alongside the other finalists and season 6 bombshells.
