Chris Brown is said to have brutally beaten four men, one of them in hospital

Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee accused Chris Brown and others of assault on Monday (July 22). Brown and his entourage are said to have attacked four men in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday (July 20).

Buzbee announced on social media that he had filed a lawsuit against Brown. The attorney said one of Brown’s alleged victims was hospitalized.

“On Saturday night in Fort Worth, entertainer Chris Brown, along with his entourage, attacked and brutally beat several men who had just attended his concert,” Buzbee wrote on Instagram. “Multiple reports have been filed with police. At least one of the men beaten is still in the hospital. Chris Brown has a long history of violence. He has been arrested or charged with assault at least ten times. Enough is enough! The Buzbee Law Firm filed suit this morning on behalf of the four men who were brutally beaten this past weekend in hopes of obtaining justice for these victims and putting an end to Brown’s intolerable and brutal behavior once and for all.”

Brown performed in Fort Worth on July 19 and 20. Originally only one concert was planned at Dickies Arena, but strong demand for tickets prompted him to add a second show.

Before Buzbee denounced Brown on social media, no police report or footage of the alleged assault surfaced. Buzbee did not disclose the identities of his clients.

Over the years, Brown has been charged with assault on numerous occasions, the most notorious being the 2009 accusation that he beat his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The controversial singer accepted a plea deal and avoided prison time in the Rihanna case. He pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated assault. A judge sentenced Brown to five years’ probation and 180 days of community service. Brown had to complete a counseling program for victims of domestic violence.

Last year, a man named Abe Diaw sued Brown over an incident at a London nightclub. Brown was accused of hitting Diaw on the head with a tequila bottle and beating him. The attack allegedly led to Diaw being hospitalized.
