In the middle of the performance, 32-year-old Lainey suddenly left the stage and stopped singing.

When she came out with a new pair of pants, the country singer told her fans that she had left for a moment because her pants had burst.

“Y’all almost got a real show… a REAL show,” Lainey told the crowd in a TikTok video captured by a fan.

“There’s a first time for everything and I’m glad it was you guys who I ripped my pants in front of. You can’t make this stuff up… I would never have known if my people here hadn’t seen it.”

Then she got on the wrong pickup truck and continued her speech.

“Okay… I’m wearing new pants. I’ll tell you what: try wearing jeans when you’re sweating… it’s not fun. You have to jump in those things,” she continued.

Lainey took it in her stride and laughed about it before going back to her performance.

She wore a black vest, the new blue jeans she had put on, cowboy boots, and a sparkly cowboy hat.

“SHE’S SO FUNNY!”

TikTok users commented on the video and couldn’t get over how funny Lainey is.

“She is so damn real and funny!” wrote one fan.

“What a lady, what a singer, what an authentic person,” said another.

“I just love her!” added a third.
