35-year-old Brazilian rock singer Ayres Sasaki dies of an electric shock during a concert

Ayres Sasaki, the 35-year-old Brazilian rock singer, died of an electrocution on July 13 in Salinopolis Para, Brazil, several publications reported.

According to media reports, Ayres Sasaki hugged a wet fan on stage during the concert at the Solar Hotel.

The contact between them resulted in him receiving a fatal electric shock from a nearby cable, which led to his death. The incident is currently being investigated by the police.

The Solar Hotel, where the singer performed, issued a clarification via Instagram, stating that it would fully cooperate with the authorities in the investigation.

The post reads: “We are fully committed to supporting his family and taking the necessary action. We reiterate our commitment to fully cooperate with the relevant authorities in properly investigating these incidents. Our thoughts and condolences are with Ayres Sasaki’s family and friends during this difficult time.”

Rita Matos, the singer’s aunt, was present at the concert, reports Mirror She told a local media outlet: “We know that his show was scheduled for a specific time and was brought forward, but we are contacting people who were with him at the time to understand how everything happened. We will summarize all the information in a statement that we will release to the press.”

Ayres leaves behind his wife, Mariana; the two were married for nearly a year, the report said.
