Adam Collard’s baby news pleases his famous ex as the Love Island legend announces her girlfriend Laura Woods’ pregnancy

Congratulations are in order for Adam Collard and his girlfriend Laura Woods, who have announced that they are expecting their first child together. In a sweet Instagram post on Sunday, July 21, the couple revealed that they are about to become parents for the first time.

To share the news, the couple posted a snapshot of the baby’s ultrasound and wrote, “Hey baby” and a pink heart emoji.

In response to the exciting news, one of Adam’s famous ex-girlfriends appeared to show her support for the couple – just months after welcoming a little bundle of joy into the world herself.

Kendall Rae Knight, who appeared on Love Island with 28-year-old Adam in 2018 and started dating the star, was among the stars who liked the sweet announcement on Instagram.

During their time on Love Island, Adam and Kendall shared the first kiss of the series. However, Adam later moved on to fellow contestant Rosie Williams, admitting that he and 32-year-old Kendall were “better off” when they were friends.

“I think the way things have turned out, I don’t know what else I can do. I gave you space when you needed space. It took a lot of effort for me to partner with you and to even choose you,” he told Kendall at the time.

“It’s just a few things that happened and it’s probably better that we’re just friends. I just don’t think it’s going to go any further. I don’t want to upset you, but I’d rather nip it in the bud before it gets any worse.”

Adam later got together with Zara McDermott, and after 32 days in the Love Island villa, his time on the show came to an end when he and Darylle Sargeant were evicted from the show.

Kendall’s contact with the father-to-be comes after she revealed that she welcomed a baby boy with her boyfriend, football player Andrew Hughes, 31, in March this year. The reality TV star announced the news on Instagram and shared some sweet snaps of the little one.

In the post, she also revealed that her son was named Cooper and was born on Monday, March 4.

She captioned her post, “Cooper Cole Hughes. 03.04.24.” She also shared some photos of herself in the hospital, holding Cooper, who is wrapped in a cream blanket.

Reacting to the news, the Love Island stars rushed to congratulate Kendall. “Ahhhhh congratulations my beautiful girl! The most perfect little family. I’m so happy for you,” wrote Georgia Steel.

“Congratulations Cooper is so gorgeous!!!! Xxx,” added Zara Holland. “Ugh!!! Congratulations darling,” commented Samira Mighty.
