Venom 3 gets an action-packed first trailer

The first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance is finally here and it’s full of action sequences, silly humor and crazy transformations.

The third part of the series is scheduled to be released in October and will continue the story of Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom.

Since the film is a Sony release, it makes sense that the trailer came out this week right before the fellow studio’s film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

The BBFC has also confirmed that the trailer for The Last Dance has a 15+ age rating, which likely indicates that the entire film will have a 15+ age rating like its two predecessors.

Earlier this month, Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Motion Pictures Group, announced that the sequel would be the final film in the series.

Speaking about the plans for the Sony Marvel universe, he said: “When the last Spider-Verse film with Phil Lord and Chris Miller comes out, it will be a major event, as will the next Spider-Man film with Tom Holland.”

He added that “the third and final Venom is going to be huge.”

“Let There Be Carnage” screenwriter Kelly Marcel will direct “The Last Dance.” New additions to the cast include Ted Lasso’s Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Doctor Strange.

Earlier this year, Temple spoke to Variety about working on the film: “It was so much fun and I got to work with such cool people.”
