After an overwhelming reception for Sudhanshu Sarias Ulaji Trailer, the makers have released the debut song Shaukanstarring Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah. Composed and produced by Shashwat Sachdev, Shaukan features the captivating vocals of Jubin Nautiyal and Neha Kakkar. The lyrics penned by Kumaar and the electrifying beats of the song make it a must-have for any party playlist.
In the pulsating song, Janhvi Kapoor exudes flirtatious and playful energy as she moves from party to party in sensual outfits. Expressing her excitement, the actress wrote, “I have always been a fan of Neha’s songs and the first collaboration with her on Shaukan is one less item on my wish list. This song is incredibly peppy and will make you hit the dance floor. It’s hot, glamorous and groovy. I think Shashwat, Jubin and Neha have created another masterpiece.”
Speaking about the importance of the song in the film, National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria said, “We needed an intoxicating, distinctive sound for the film and Shashwat Sachdev more than delivered.” Shaukan is an integral part of the film’s narrative puzzle and I can’t wait to see what audiences and listeners make of it.”

Ulaji follows the journey of a young diplomat from a prominent family of patriots who, far from home, becomes embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy at a career-defining post. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain and Jitendra Joshi.
Ulyah is scheduled to hit theaters on August 2nd.
