BTS’ Jimin performs his new song “Who” on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show”

SEOUL – South Korean singer Jimin of K-pop boy band BTS will perform his new song “Who” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Jimin, 28, will appear on the popular American late-night talk show on July 22 (US time) and sing “Who,” the main song from his second solo album “Muse,” which was released on July 19.

The song debuted at number 3 on the Spotify Daily Top Song Global chart on July 19 after being streamed more than 7.9 million times. It also topped the Spotify Daily Top Song chart in seven countries, including South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Tonight Show announced Jimin’s appearance on July 18 with a teaser video posted on their official social media accounts.

The teaser shows host Jimmy Fallon drinking from a can labeled “Dr. Jimin” while watching Jimin’s performance on a laptop, followed by a brief glimpse of the stage.

Jimin, who has been serving in the South Korean military since December 2023, recorded his appearance for the Jimmy Fallon Show before his enlistment.

The singer made his first solo appearance on the talk show in March 2023, singing the song Like Crazy from his first solo album Face, which was released the same month. THE KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK
