Sherrone Moore announces more good news for Michigan football recruitment

As I said, it’s fun to have a head coach active on social media again. And even though Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore isn’t constantly active, his posts are important.

Lately, Moore has been posting a teaser before each signing. Moore tweeted the eyes emoji before the signings of Jaylen Williams, Kainoa Winston and Brady Hart.

So when Moore tweeted the eye emoji and another #GoBlue, Michigan football fans probably correctly assumed it meant good news for the Wolverines.

We previewed Victors Weekend on Saturday, and there are five people on campus who have Michigan football in the lead according to the experts’ predictions. Another is Phillip Wright, who visited just last weekend and is also trending in the experts’ predictions.

Wright is currently off campus, however, so I wouldn’t bet on him, although you don’t necessarily have to be on campus to commit. That leaves five other candidates: Kayden Strayhorn (3-star C), 3-star LB Chase Taylor, 4-star DL Maxwell Roy, 4-star OL Hardy Watts, and 4-star WR Taz Williams.

All of these recruits have received crystal balls or expert projections in recent weeks and there is reason to believe the Wolverines are close to making a commitment with each recruit. It’s hard to guess, as realistically it could be any of these five recruits.

It wouldn’t shock me if Moore made this post more than once this weekend, or maybe the Wolverines already have multiple commitments. Either way, don’t expect the positive recruiting momentum for Michigan to slow down anytime soon.
