Winner of season 6 of Love Island USA announced and reunion episode announced

America has voted – and Love Island USA has announced the winners of season 6!

After almost six weeks of dating, relationships, partner swapping and isolation, was it JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez, Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi or Serena Page and Kordell Beckham?

On Sunday, July 21, host Ariana Madix announced that Serena and Kordell were named the winners and will share the $100,000 prize.

Nicole and Kendall took fourth place, followed by JaNa and Kenny in third place. Leah and Miguel, the finalist couple who had been together the shortest time, took second place.

When the fireworks exploded in the sky, even Madix was emotional about the end of the season.

Serena and Kordell, the younger brother of soccer player Odell Beckham Jr., first caught each other’s eye on their first day at the villa when they happened to be wearing matching lime green ensembles.

Since then, the couple has overcome several obstacles. Serena, who describes herself as a “slow burner,” initially saw Kordell as just a friend, but once he humbly accepted that, her feelings became more romantic. They had only just begun to explore the physical aspects of their relationship when the guys went to Casa Amor – and Kordell came back a few days later with a new partner, Daia McGhee.

Serena was understandably angry, especially because she slept outside and remained loyal to Kordell during their separation. But Kordell quickly realized that he only had eyes for Serena and began fighting to win her back.

Obviously it worked.

On their last date, the duo had the opportunity to look at the highlights of their trip, which ended with the remark: “Not the end, the beginning…”

And in a beautiful full-circle moment, Serena and Kordell wore matching outfits for the finale – this time in pink – just like they did at the premiere.

This season has some of the highest ratings yet for Love Island USA since it moved to Peacock after its first few seasons, and has become one of the most streamed shows of the summer in recent months.

During the finale, Madix also revealed that she will host a reunion special that will air on Peacock on August 19 at 9 p.m. ET. The big winners, fan-favorite couples, and the bombshells will come together to reminisce about their summer in Fiji.
