• Splice, the platform that helps music creators bring their ideas to life, has hired music industry professional Kenny Ochoa As Senior Vice President of Content, he oversees Splice’s global content team as it continues to grow its ever-growing catalog of royalty-free, human-created samples. Ochoa’s responsibilities also include ownership of Splice’s content pipeline, building solid artist partnerships, and driving the platform’s overall industry reach.

Ochoa joins Splice from Snap, where he served as Head of Music Curation & Licensing for the US, India, France, UK, Latin America, MENA, Nigeria and Ghana. Previously, Ochoa held senior roles in Creative Sync Licensing at Warner Bros. Records, Sony Music Entertainment and Sanctuary Records Group.

Based in Los Angeles, Ochoa will report to Splice’s CEO. Kakul Srivastavawho noted, “This is a critical time in our industry, so it was important that we find someone with the relationships, taste and passion to help us build and prepare the future of music creation. Kenny is exactly what we were looking for, someone with extensive experience in both the technology and music industries who also has empathy for the music creation community.”
