Recruits who could join Michigan football next

This weekend, the Michigan football team’s late spring and early summer slate of official visits reaches its peak, and there are many players who could suit up for the Wolverines in addition to those who already have.

Michigan has received commitments from players such as Kainoa Winston, Jaylen Williams and Jasper Parker since taking official visits to Ann Arbor in recent weeks, but the June 21 roster includes many more high-profile young players on campus.

Some will pull the trigger sooner than others. Michigan, for example, is rushing to sign Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng, the 2025 four-star linebacker who will play at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. But he isn’t expected to make a decision until the summer, or he could even hold off on his recruitment until signing day in December. Other players Michigan is targeting — like running back Jordon Davison, wide receiver Derek Meadows or safety JaDon Blair — could also make their decisions soon, but it’s still uncertain which school they’ll choose.

Still, Michigan is expected to receive a pledge shortly, as Sherrone Moore shows on social media with his trademark “eye” emoji, suggesting that someone behind the scenes has pledged. But whoever that is has not yet made their pledge public. With that in mind, here are the candidates who could essentially choose Michigan at any time or in the near future.
