Zach Zoya continues his winning streak with his latest release:Monaco” feat. frequent collaborators Koko Love and Soran. Today, the Canadian rapper returns with his latest single, “Monaco.” Zach’s third drop of the year is upbeat and boisterous, expressing the uncontrollable joy that comes from teaming up with Koko and Soran.

“‘Monaco’ is the third single from my third EP, which will be released in autumn 2024,” Zach shares. “Following in the footsteps of my two previous releases, Rich N Pretty and Don Juan, Monaco is a lighthearted, silly and colorful summer anthem. It should be seen and consumed as a tableau, a moving image, a moment in time. It’s not really a story; it’s more of an emotion, a slice of time. It was made with two of my best friends and frequent collaborators, Koko Love and Soran. They both contributed vocals and produced the song themselves.”

He continues, “The song is also a tribute or inspired by the chaotic, messy, energetic vibe of the music I listened to as a kid – mostly OutKast & The Black Eyed Peas. I remember listening to their music as a kid, not necessarily understanding the lyrics, but I was totally mesmerized by the dynamics, the power I felt in the music. So, here’s my attempt!”

Alongside the new single, Zach joins Koko Love and Soran in the accompanying video to celebrate their carefree summer vibes. Zach prepares his current fans and newcomers for the summer vibes they deserve while setting the tone for his upcoming EP, which will add another colorful layer to Zach’s growing catalog.

ABOUT ZACH ZOYA

Growing up in the city of Rouyn-Noranda, Zach Zoya developed a diverse musical palette through his family. His South African father introduced him to African music and his French-Canadian mother to North American soul and pop. Zoya was immersed in rhythm and melody from a young age. Zach was soon discovered by French rap powerhouse label 7ième Ciel and became the first English-speaking artist to be signed to the famous label. He then began collaborating with some of the country’s biggest producers for his debut EP Spectrum. This landed Zach on coveted one-to-watch and best-of lists and earned him several award nominations including the 2021 Berlin Music Video Awards and the 2021 ADISQ Award for International Collaboration of the Year with British artist/producer Angel for his single “Patience”.
