Midwxst Guns for one banger after another at “BACK IN ACTION 4.0”

Midwxst won many fans early on thanks to his BACK IN ACTION Series and this weekend he is here with version 4.0This is something the genre-bender from South Carolina has been doing since 2021, a few years after he began his professional career in 2019. The underground star tends to be more experimental in subgenres like hyper pop and emo in his other projects. BACK IN ACTION Bands like 4.0midwxst likes to let out his anger and relies on trap/rage hits that will melt your brain. The 21-year-old doesn’t let up from start to finish. The first half of the track list is particularly characterized by this, as the beats are hyper-aggressive and strange.

Only a few features accompany midwxst here, so you can find Dro Kenji on “MIA” and DC The Don on “FIRE”. Speaking of the latter, it was one of three promo singles. “E30”, which, yes, for all you car junkies out there, is a reference to the BMW car model, and “GUN SMOKE”. To make up for the lost time of this series, midwxst has 4.0 the longest of the quartet. It includes 15 songs and is almost 39 minutes long. Hardcore fans of his will no doubt debate for a long time about which is the best BACK IN ACTION. However, in our opinion, this project is pretty solid. However, since it is longer, some of the songs may sound the same in terms of both performance and instrumentation.
