The best memes from the sixth season of Love Island USA

The sixth season of Peacock’s Love Island USA has broken both streaming records and the Internet. This summer’s edition of Love Island USA will finally come to an end on Sunday, July 21, when only one of the four remaining couples will be crowned America’s favorite. Between dramatic reunions and hot challenges Love Island USA has also sparked some viral memes.

The successful reality dating show, which originally became popular in the UK, celebrated its sixth season on the streaming platform on June 11th. Vanderpump Rules Star Ariana Madix will be the new presenter of Love Island USA, but a new cast of single men and women also added drama.

Now, six weeks and thousands of viewers later, only four couples remain in the Fiji villa – Serena Page and Kordell Beckham, JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez, Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi, and Kendall Washington and Nicole Jacky.

Before Sunday evening Love Island USA Finale: Here’s a look back at some of the most viral moments of the season.

‘I could never hate you’

Probably the most discussed couple on Love Island USA were Leah and Rob Rausch, who were paired together at the beginning of the season. 24-year-old Leah was instantly attracted to the 25-year-old snake tamer from Alabama. However, things took a turn when “bombshell” Andrea Carmona entered the villa and caught Rob’s eye. It’s safe to say Leah wasn’t thrilled about their connection and she even let out a few curses when Rob decided to get back together with Andrea. However, their relationship only lasted a few days before Andrea was voted off the island by fellow contestants Liv Walker, Serena Page, Kaylor and Leah.

The shocking vote sparked one of the most explosive moments of the season, with Rob even declaring he was leaving the villa with Andrea. Although the snake catcher decided to stay, that didn’t stop him from believing that Leah was the mastermind behind Andrea’s rejection.

Despite all the drama, Leah and Rob inspired one of the The Love Island the most viral sounds on TikTok when they decided to settle their argument. In the now-viral clip, set to Blood Orange’s “Champagne Coast,” Leah is seen asking Rob, “You don’t hate me?”

“I could never hate you,” he replied.

The audio has since been used in over 35,000 TikTok videos, as fans continue to hope that Leah and Rob will rekindle their romance (keep dreaming, folks).

Kaylor’s Waterworks

It is unclear whether Kaylor will be crowned the winner of Love Island USA along with her boyfriend Aaron, she can at least retain the title of the most emotional person in the villa. The 22-year-old Pennsylvania native was particularly tearful during the three days Aaron spent at Casa Amor, where he developed a romantic relationship with Daniela Ortiz Rivera.

“I’m begging Kaylor to stop crying. Cried last episode, cried this episode, and will cry next episode. Girl aren’t you tired?! Because I am. It’s not that bad!” wrote one fan on X, formerly Twitter.

Although there were many tears, Kaylor and Aaron finally made it official when they became boyfriend and girlfriend in episode 30.

Kordell’s “long-term goals” to become a Cheez-Its sponsor

Kordell Beckham, the 22-year-old brother of NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., became an instant favorite with viewers due to his silly quips and undeniably strong connection with Serena Page. At their first meeting in the mansion, Serena took the time to get to know Kordell in person. However, it was their first conversation that sent fans into hysterics.

“So what are your long-term goals?” asked Serena Kordell in the clip, which has been viewed more than 14 million times on TikTok.

“Explain it to me,” Kordell replied, to which Serena replied confusedly, “Your goals… long-term.”

He went on to say that he hopes to get into the entertainment industry as an actor and model, but what is his true goal in life? “I definitely want to do sponsorships too… Cheez-Its. I can’t get enough of Cheez-Its,” Kordell said.

Rob rolls his eyes

Rob’s typical eye-rolling has become as important a character in the villa as the islanders themselves. Love Island USA The cast member first iconically rolled his eyes after the girls voted Andrea off the island, and occasionally used the gesture for dramatic reunions. As the season progressed, however, viewers couldn’t help but get annoyed by Rob’s constant eye-rolling, and expressed their frustration on social media.

“Rob’s eye rolling will always be funny because he’s so cheeky,” wrote one X-user, while another fan on the Love Island USA Subreddit: “Rob’s facial expression during Serena and Kordell’s reunion part of tonight’s episode bothered me.”

Liv, the ultimate girl-girl

This season, one of the most popular islanders of Love Island USA was none other than Liv Walker – affectionately known by fans as the “Australian Barbie” of the villa. The 22-year-old from Sydney entered the villa on day two as a “bombshell”, but ultimately went home on day 24 without a romantic connection.

However, it was the strong friendships she formed with her fellow female cast members that will stay with Liv for life. Following her exit from the villa, many fans applauded the college student on social media for always standing up for the girls and staying true to herself.

“Liv truly had the best redemption arc and she was a villain and a real one. I love my sister. She cared so much for all the OG girls and was always supportive,” said one fan on X.

Rob and Aaron’s Bromance

Throughout all of these dramatic reunions, it was Rob and Aaron who remained one of the most loyal couples ever. Rob, who had quite a bit of bad luck in love during his Love Island experience, often received words of encouragement from the 27-year-old Brit.

If that Traitor Great Britain Winner thought that Rob would leave the villa with Andrea, he cried more tears than his girlfriend Kaylor. If viewers have learned anything from this season of Love Island USAIt is true that many friendships have triumphed over relationships.

The Love Island USA The season six finale airs Sunday, July 21 at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.
