Taylor Swift performed for the first time in London on Friday evening, in the presence of numerous members of the royal family and celebrities
Among the guests who attended Taylor Swift’s first performance in London on Friday night were the royal family, supermodels and actors.
Taylor, who has wrapped up her engagements in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff, entertained thousands of Swifties at Wembley Stadium on June 21. She will perform two more nights in the capital, supporting Paramore, before moving on to Dublin, Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan and other cities.
Given the singer’s enormous popularity, it’s no surprise that some of the biggest stars were spotted in the VIP area, dancing and grooving to her hits. Her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his family had the time of their lives as they watched her proudly perform on stage.
Bridgerton icon Nicola Coughlan, model Cara Delevingne, Prince William and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Zara and Mike Tindall, comedian Rob Beckett, Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness, Hollywood legend Salma Hayek and Dr. Victoria Magrath were also in attendance for the fun-filled evening. Earlier today, Taylor shared a selfie with Prince William, his children and Travis.
“Happy birthday M8! The London shows have started off great,” she captioned the sweet photo, as his birthday fell on the first night of the concert. One fan took to social media to share the moment they spotted the prince standing on a terrace and lip-syncing to “Shake It Off.”
The hilarious video has since garnered over 60,000 views on TikTok and 504 comments. The 42-year-old, who has two sons, Prince George and Prince Louis, and daughter Princess Charlotte with wife Princess Kate, wore a button-down shirt, blazer and trousers.
Meanwhile, Victoria shared a “get ready with me” video on her page, wearing a sparkly top, rhinestone-encrusted cropped blazer, shorts and high heels. Model and actress Cara threw bracelets into the crowd. Cara joined Taylor’s boyfriend Travis, who plays American football, and was paraded around the packed stadium in front of 90,000 fans.
Keir Starmer was among those boosting the numbers as he watched Taylor perform. He was accompanied by his wife Victoria, who were looking to blow off some steam and take a break from campaigning ahead of next month’s general election.
In the photo, shared on his X account, both smiled at the camera from the stands at Wembley Arena as they watched Taylor on stage. Keir ditched his suits in favour of a white T-shirt and navy jacket. His wife Victoria wore blue jeans with a frayed black tank top and a red handbag from the brand. Alongside the snap, the Labour leader said: “Pit stop on the Swift campaign trail.”
Thousands of Swift fans flocked to the capital as the 34-year-old singer made the first appearance of her three-night residency at London’s Wembley Stadium yesterday. Opening her show, Taylor told her fans: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m thinking about how beautiful you are and how wonderful it is to think about how you get to spend your time in the most exciting city in the world.”
