Eagles book 12 fall dates at Las Vegas Sphere

TO UPDATE: Four shows have been added to the Eagles’ Sphere residency, on November 1, 2, 8 and 9. The dates below have been updated to reflect the additions.

The Sphere in Las Vegas has found its next tenant. The stunning venue announced Thursday (June 13) that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees the Eagles will be coming to town this fall for eight concerts over four weekends.

Concerts begin on September 20 and run through October 19, with general sales set to begin here on June 21. Ticket prices start at $175, and to ensure tickets get into fans’ hands, an artist presale will begin on Tuesday (June 18) at 1 p.m. ET; a Live Nation presale will begin on June 20 at 1 p.m. ET. Limited VIP ticket packages will also go on sale on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET and include premium seating, exclusive merchandise and parking.

The full list of dates for the Eagles’ stay is: September 20-21, September 27-28, October 11-12 and October 18-19.

The Eagles take over from Dead & Company, who hit the venue on May 16 with their never-ending road trip (dates run through August 10). The Sphere kicked off its debut series of shows on September 29 with the first of 40 shows by U2, called U2: UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere, which ran through March 2. Jam icons Phish followed right after for a four-show run in late April at the 18,000-seat immersive venue, which received rave reviews for its 160,000-square-foot wraparound 16K LED screen and seat-shaking performances from more than 1,500 speakers.
