Brazilian rock singer Ayres Sasaki died last week from electrocution. The shocking incident occurred on July 13 at the Solar Hotel in Salinópolis. Sasaki was 35 years old and the news of his death left his fans and relatives in shock.

What happened

On July 13, Sasaki went to perform for his fans at the Solar Hotel. The tragic incident occurred when an excited fan, who was completely soaked, grabbed him during the concert. When Sasaki hugged the fan, it caused a fatal electric shock. The incident happened so quickly that Sasaki was pronounced dead on the spot.

Investigation

According to reports, the Salinópolis Police and the Pará Civil Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. The Solar Hotel, where the tragic event occurred, released a statement following the incident. In mourning the death of the well-known singer, it said: “We are fully committed to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures. We reiterate our commitment to fully cooperate with the competent authorities in the proper clarification of the events.”

After the singer’s death, his wife Mariana posted a message on Instagram thanking her fans for their affection and comfort. “I want to thank you for every message of affection and comfort, for every prayer in this difficult time we are going through,” Mariana wrote, according to Istoé Gente. “I haven’t been able to read all the messages yet, but when I feel better I will respond to each one. Thank you.”

Ayres Sasaki’s family is deeply saddened by the loss. His aunt, Rita Matos, mentioned that they are gathering information from other concertgoers to find out how the accident happened. The family plans to issue a press statement once they have all the details.

Sasaki was very popular in Brazil’s music community, with friends and fans paying tribute to him on social media. Adriano Freitas, a fellow singer and close friend, reminisced about Sasaki, noting that their friendship went beyond the music industry. Freitas described Sasaki as a charismatic person with incredible talent, calling him the best singer and guitarist in Belem.
