The singer and her husband, a composer, had their first child on June 21. They shared the good news in a joint post on Instagram.

Welcoming your little darling

The singer shared the news on Instagram with a never-before-seen photo of herself with Goldie, showing off her baby bump.

“Waheguru Tera Shukar Hai (evil eye and heart emoji). It is with immense joy and gratitude that we announce the birth of our precious BABY BOY on World Music Day! This special day has blessed us with the sweetest note in the symphony of our lives. Our hearts are overflowing with love, happiness and gratitude,” she wrote alongside the picture.

In the picture, the Akh Lad Jaave singer is seen resting her head on her husband’s lap. Her husband is looking at the little shoes that the singer is holding in his hands. Asees is wearing a yellow dress and her radiant pregnancy glow adds to the beauty of the picture. They shared the post on Friday.

As soon as the couple posted the picture, their fans and friends congratulated the couple in the comments section. Actress Hina Khan wrote, “Yay, congratulations to you both,” while Gauahar Khan also commented, “Congratulations, God bless your family.”

Comedian Bharti Singh too wrote, “Congratulations ji,” and Ridhima Pandit dropped red heart emojis in the comments section. Music director Rochak Kohli said, “Wow! What a khabar! What a day! Mubarak ho guys…zindagi badalne waali hai.”

More about the couple

While working on I Don’t Give A…, Asees and Goldie had a real chemistry and fell in love. Goldie is known for his super hit Aaj Sajeya.

In January last year, she got engaged to singer Goldie. She married him in June of the same year. The couple followed the Anand Karaj ceremony as per traditional Sikh rituals and tied the knot at a Gurudwara in Mumbai.

They posted their first post-wedding pictures on Instagram. For the wedding, Asees and Goldie Sohel opted for pink outfits. While Asees wore a pink salwar suit, Goldie was seen in a white sherwani and a pink turban.
