Green flag, they drive side by side into the first corner. Custer wins the race in the second corner.

Sam Mayer is there when he goes three wide into turn three. Mayer slides across the track, 8 other cars are trapped and the caution is issued.

Green, Custer and Herbst run side by side. Almirola pushes Custer to the front.

Lap 17, Chandler Smith is stuck on the apron, caution.

Custer and Almirola head for the pit lane. Herbst stays outside and takes the lead.

Green, Herbst and Allmendinger run side by side for the lead. Victory pushes Herbst to the front.

Riley Herbst drives away and wins the first stage in Indianapolis!

Phase 2 – Report

Herbst and the rest of the leaders head to pit lane. Herbst restarts in tenth place while Brandon Jones and Justin Allgaier take the front row.

Green flag on the second stage, Allgaier goes far off the track, Jones takes the lead.

Lap 42, Allgaier passes Jones in turn three. He looks inside, Allgaier takes the lead. Custer follows him and takes second place. He works his way under Allgaier in turn four. Custer takes the lead.

Lap 56, Brennan Poole goes up in smoke, caution.

Custer leads the field into the pit lane. Herbst wins the race until the pit exit. Sieg and Honeyman Jr. stay outside.

Green still has 1 lap to go in the second stage, Sieg has a clear path in the first corner, while Autumn quickly takes second place from him.

Ryan Sieg throws a block before turn four and keeps them at bay to win stage two at Indianapolis!

Phase 3 – Report

Sieg heads for the pit lane. Almirola takes the lead in the race.

Green flag on the third stage, Almirola and Allmendinger are running side by side for the lead. The doors rub together and Herbst overtakes both of them! Herbst takes the lead.

Lap 67, Austin Hill touches Almirola and Almirola is close, caution.

Green, Herbst and Allmendinger race side by side for the lead. Herbst gets sideways under Allmendinger in turn three! He saves the win and Allmendinger takes the lead.

25 to go, Custer has a charge on Allmendinger. Allmendinger runs wide and Custer takes the lead. Allmendinger crosses under him and they run into fenders. Custer keeps the lead as Herbst takes 2nd.

20 seconds left, Herbst is closing in on Custer. He has two breakaways in the corner, Herbst takes the lead!

With 16 minutes to go, Anthony Alfredo clips the wall and slows down in turn two. Parker Retzlaff comes into the scene at high speed and drives straight into his rear. Josh Williams is caught and the warning is issued.

Herbst, Allmendinger and Custer stay outside while the majority of the field goes to the pit lane.

Green, Herbst and Custer run side by side for the lead. Custer wins the battle from turn two on the outside lane.

4 to go, Custer leads by 1 second over Herbst.

2 to go, Herbst is behind Custer. Herbst touches Custer’s bumper in turn four! Almirola goes around both of them! Almirola leads at the white flag!

1 to go, Almirola blocks Herbst from behind. Herbst touches his bumper in turn three! Almirola drives up the track and Herbst works the inside. They rub doors in turn four! Herbst takes the lead.
