Travis Kelce’s expensive farewell gifts for Taylor Swift during the European tour

Taylor Swift was showered with gifts by her boyfriend Travis Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs star headed home to prepare for the upcoming NFL season.

Kelce has spent most of the summer with Swift, who is touring the world in front of record crowds as part of her “Eras Tour.” She recently performed in Europe and Kelce took the opportunity to treat Swift to $75,000 worth of designer gifts at luxury boutiques in Milan.

According to The Sun, Kelce gifted Swift 14 items after an extensive shopping spree, purchasing goods from Prada, Valentino, Bottega Veneta and Fendi. Kelce was unable to attend her Milan shows due to golf commitments with his brother Jason, but made up for his absence with some luxury items for his girlfriend.

Clothes, shoes and accessories were purchased for Swift as a farewell. Kelce is expected to return to the Chiefs on July 21. Kelce toured European venues in Germany and the UK with Swift, but the couple will now part ways as the NFL season quickly approaches.

A source told The Sun that Kelce was well aware of Swift’s love for the top Italian brands and wanted to spoil her with a little something after their summer together. “Travis knows that Taylor loves these brands,” said a source.

“He wants her wardrobe to have a real Italian touch. Travis loves Valentino, both for him and for Taylor.” This summer marked the longest time Kelce and Swift have spent together, with their relationship beginning during last NFL season.

But for Kelce, summer is over because of a mandatory workout on July 21 before the NFL preseason. Kelce will now be under contract with the Chiefs at least until February if they reach the Super Bowl for the third year in a row.

Swift’s “Eras Tour” ends on December 8, meaning she can support Kelce toward the end of the regular season and during the playoffs if the Chiefs reach the postseason as expected. There have been concerns about Kelce’s focus as the Chiefs prepare for a historic 3-straight win streak, but head coach Andy Reid trusts the tight end to remain professional.

“I’m OK with it as long as they’re ready,” Reid told reporters when asked how Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ lifestyles might affect preparations. He sent Kelce a clear message, however, by suggesting he’ll know if he’s not fully fit.

“Training camp is a proving ground. If you’re not ready, it’s going to be obvious,” Reid told reporters. “Just whether it’s a conditioning test or the long drive drills we do, those things are going to be where you find out who’s in and who’s out and who’s put in their time.”
