Taylor Swift’s high school “nemesis” makes new, bold claim about the singer and outrages her fans

Taylor Swift’s high school “nemesis” makes new, bold claim about the singer and outrages her fans

There appears to be a strained past between Taylor Swift and a former high school classmate, according to a controversial TikTok video that has infuriated the singer’s fans.

Jessica McLane revealed that she and the award-winning artist were schoolmates when Swift’s career was just starting to take off.

On this popular social platform, she made a remarkable remark about the attitude of her classmates towards her. In the controversial video, she said that they grew up in the same area and went to the same school.

Although she prefaced her story by saying that she had limited knowledge of the multi-platinum singer, she confirmed that they attended Hendersonville High School in Tennessee together.

In the now widely circulated clip, she explained: “In 2006, I’m a freshman in high school. Taylor is, I think, in her third year. ‘Teardrops on my Guitar’ just came out in the summer, I think.”

“Obviously she got really big, and that year she left school and was homeschooled.” Jessica later revealed that Swift’s rising fame had apparently greatly damaged her popularity at school.

She revealed that the majority of her classmates disliked her, saying, “She’s literally 16, 17, and she dropped out of high school to pursue a career that people told her she could never have.”

She added: “Plus, the boys she was writing these songs about were still in school, they were still there.”

“Now they have a hit song where they talk about what a shitty friend they are.”

But things apparently changed when McLane announced that Swift had invited all of her old school friends to the 2009 CMA Awards as a bold statement.

“She invited us to the CMAs to screw you over. And we deserve it. So, Taylor-touche!”

Swifties were quick to rally behind their idol. One fan said: “Even if Taylor’s father was financially privileged enough to be able to advance her career, no amount of money in the world can buy talent and perseverance.”

Another supporter chimed in: “The best revenge on your haters and naysayers is… success. And she showed you that in abundance,” while another added: “Because she got to live the life every girl dreams of and couldn’t live and she did it in a badass way.”

One fan praised Swift’s approach, saying, “Sagittarius energy. We forgive, but WE NEVER FORGET.”

Taylor Swift, one of the world’s best-selling artists with 200 million records sold, is not only a music sensation, she is also the most successful female touring artist. According to Forbes, the pop star became the first billionaire whose primary income comes from music at the end of last year, joining the “three-comma club.”

In addition, she is ranked 34th among the richest self-made women in America.

Her latest work, “The Tortured Poets’ Department,” released in April this year, is the 11th studio album by the 34-year-old renowned artist.
