Misaki Kuno joins the voice cast of “Mission: Yozakura Family” as Ai

Misaki Kuno Is join the voice cast the current Mission: Yozakura Family Television series as Ai – a cat-like little girl. The anime was first broadcast in Japan on April 7, 2024 and is scheduled to consist of a total of 27 episodes.

In addition, new character designs for Nanao Yozakura were also released, highlighting his unaltered natural state.

Minato Shrine (Masamune-kun’s Revenge, The Dungeon of the Black Company, Sasaki and Peeps) is directing the anime series and writing the screenplay, with Mizuki Takahashi (Kizuna no allele Co-Chief Animation Director) as character designer and chief animation director, and Sus4’s Koji Fujimoto (Ragna Crimson) And Osamu Sasaki (Ragna Crimson) as music composers. The series is based on the action comedy manga by Hitsuji Gondairawhich was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on August 26, 2019. A total of 24 tankobon volumes have been published as of June 2024, with the 25th volume scheduled to be released on August 2, 2024.

The anime series debuted as a Hulu Original title in Hulu’s April schedule in the U.S. Disney+ is streaming the series in other select territories outside Japan.

VIZ Media publishes the Mission: Yozakura Family Manga in English which describes the main summary as follows:

Taiyo Asano is a super shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a family of master spies with amazing powers. Her eldest brother, Kyoichiro, is obsessed with Mutsumi and wants to kill anyone who comes anywhere near her – and his next target is Taiyo! The only way for Taiyo to escape from Kyoichiro’s murderous clutches is to marry Mutsumi!
