Glass Animals release fourth studio album “I Love You So F***ing Much”

It is no secret that Glass animals has found the formula for indie pop perfection. With hits like “Heat Wave” and “Gooey,” the quartet has established its classic sound and gained over 25 million monthly listeners and loyal fans from around the world. Almost four years after the release of their acclaimed album DreamlandGlass Animals release their highly anticipated fourth studio album. I love you so damn much.

An ode to her fans, herself and her loved ones, I love you so damn much is undoubtedly one of Glass Animals’ most sensitive works to date. Track two, “whatthehellishappening,” stood out to us as the most catchy song of the bunch, staying in our heads for hours after listening to it. Much of the album is characterized by stripped-down production, half-time grooves, and a focus on Dave Bayley’s vocals in their purest form.

Glass Animals explained the meaning behind the album title and commented:

I LOVE YOU SO FUCKING MUCH. Our fourth child. Was born today. The YOU in that title applies to a lot of things. Life. The stories and people in the songs… good and bad, happy and sad. The album as a whole. But mostly it applies to YOU. You, reading this. Right now. This album wouldn’t exist without you. Hearing your stories about your relationship to the music we’ve made and feeling your support and kindness over the years has made this album possible. It’s been a comfort blanket for me, allowing me to write more honestly and personally. And it gave us a foundation from which to take risks and do something new musically. We are incredibly lucky. Thank you for everything. We love you so damn much, forever.
